SUMMIT - Seismic
Aquisition System
Summit is an
up-to-date, reliable and high quality seismic acquisition system at a
moderate price. There are two different seismic acquisition units
available: Summit Remote Units
(2 channels) and Summit Compact
Units (24 channels).
The new Summit II
Plus, successor of the original Summit System offers considerable
advantages. The choice of either central power supply by using the new
Summit Power Line Cable or decentralised power supply by using the
simple Summit Line Cable is just an example. Both Summit Units and
Summit generations can be combined in the field. You can use the Summit
System for oil and gas, mineral and coal exploration, environmental or
engineering applications, 2D or 3D, Crosshole, VSP or in mine surveys.
Whether you need 10 or 1000 channels, Summit is your choice.
The Summit Units are
controlled by a user friendly
acquisition software
based on Microsoft Windows. All Units are connected (Plug & Play) by the
Summit USB Line Interface to the Central Unit (PC or Laptop). Thus the
whole Summit System is very cost-effective and easily managed by standard
components.
There is no limit to
active channels in the spread. All Summit Units are interlinked via
Summit Line Cable or Summit Power Line Cable. By using
Summit Repeater Units the
Summit Line Cable can be extended without any limit.
