The
Summit Repeater is the unit that enables you to build up a Summit
Network. Thus long 2D lines or complex 3D layouts can be realized with
minimum effort and logistic. Each Repeater Unit transmits several status
informations to the central unit (PC) that helps you control your
network. Just like the new Remote Units, the Repeater Unit is powered by
an external battery. Repeater Units can be used either as a usual
repeater or as a cross unit. Both functions are available without the
need of special settings.
Summit Repeater as an
usual repeater:
Independent of the power supply type you use, a Repeater Unit must be
connected to the line every 330 meter (approximately).
Summit Repeater as
cross unit:
To realize your 3D surveys a Summit Repeater Unit is needed. Independent
of the power supply type, you can connect the Repeater Unit at any
desired position in the line. Thus this flexibility makes it quit easy to
create cross lines, especially in difficult terrains.
