The
multifunctional STROBE transmitter is used to generate opposite polarity
current pulses into the ungrounded loop or grounded electrodes (see
transmitter current waveform).
In case of TEM storage batteries are used as a primary source of power, for IP
measurements - petrol power unit and rectifier. Pulse current can be set in a
range of 0.5 to 10 A. It is determined by the load resistance and can’t be
adjusted.
