SensInv1D
- an inversion
and modelling software for 1D geoelectric data under Windows9x/NT-
SensInv1D enables the processing of vertical electrical
resistivity and IP soundings.
It is a tool
to derive the best fitting layered models from soundings performed in different
geometries. The program is based on a mathematical optimization procedure
which uses a regularization technique to change a given layered model in
such a way that the best fitting between the measured and calculated sounding
curves is achieved. During the iteration procedure the root mean square
(RMS) error between measured and modeled curve is minimized.
The forward
problem is solved by a filter technique.
This version
is designed to process curves measured in Schlumberger, Wenner, dipole-dipole
or pole-pole geometries.
Here is a selection of some software options:
others features
are:
- Import of
other data formats
- Extracting
sounding curves from 2D data sets
- Colored bar
display of models
- Display of
borehole and logging data
- Correlation
matrix for cross-checking relation between inverted parameters
- Sensitivity
display of inverted data
Editing of Input Data
You may edit
your data file, change or delete data or move data values interactively to
new position.
Model Set Up
Also, you may
model arbitrary situations and invert data based on those models or you may
caculate models response. A contineous layer option is available, where the
user may start with up to 20 layers of fixed (logarithmic) thickness to evaluate
a smooth resistivity profile.
Model Display
Modelling display
can be made as step function or as color display.
Inversion
Inversion results
can be displayed for resistivity and phase data.
