Slope stability analysis and
planning of the retaining structures.
The
calculation method used is based on the search for limit equilibrium conditions,
it allows one to verify slopes with any ground-level geometry, and sliding
surfaces that can be defined individually or grouped in families that can be
circular or plane.
The analysis can be effectuated in drained or
undrained conditions, or in conditions of seismic risk through pseudo-static
analysis.
To design
structures such as retaining or sheet-pile walls, instead of merely determining
the safety factor, the programme calculates, for each potentially unstable
sliding surface, the force the stabilising structure has to counteract to
satisfy a given safety factor.
The programme allows the introduction of
shear-resistant elements and yields excellent results in the calculation of
reinforced earth.
