The ISS Seismic
Controller is a network device that loads operating code and parameters from
a Microsoft Windows or Linux computer on the Local Area Network (LAN). It
continually acquires, processes, analyses seismic and non-seismic data,
storing the data onto a designated computer on the LAN. Time may be
synchronised to Universal Time Coordinance (UTC) by means of an ISS GPS
Timing Unit. This enables recorded seismic and non-seismic data to be
compared with other geotechnical data that is GPS time-stamped. |
